I started The Family Foundations Agency in 2023, as I transitioned from a stable, decade-long career as a nanny into the world of birth work. I know firsthand how scary, even risky, it can feel to step into a new industry, especially one that’s often led by solo entrepreneurs who somehow seem to be successfully winging it.
I’m here to tell you — you don’t have to wing it with us.
In 2024, as The Family Foundations Agency celebrated its first anniversary, I found myself at a crossroads. I could continue turning away families because I was consistently fully booked, or I could build something bigger—a team of skilled, aligned providers who could support families across Arizona and elevate the way postpartum care is experienced.
What started as one provider quickly grew to three, then five, then ten. Today, we’re working with professionals across the country, thoughtfully connecting them with families in need of birth support, postpartum care, and newborn expertise.
Over the past three years, through steady growth and a lot of intention, Family Foundations has supported more than 100 families through peaceful births, nourished postpartum seasons, and more restful nights as babies begin to settle into sleep. We’ve become a trusted presence in our clients’ homes—and a supportive, reliable foundation for the providers who work alongside us.

Required Qualifications:
Trained, with a certificate of completion as a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, or Newborn Care Specialist
Minimum of three years of experience in birth and postpartum work, or a related field such as child care, caregiving, or a medial profession

Copy of all certifications and trainings you wished to by recoginzed for
Up-to-date CPR & First Aid Certification
Desire to be an active part of our team and company, which includes the promotion and marketing of Family Foundations
Must undergo a background check and/or supply your Fingerprint Clearance Card or be Trustline Certified
Ability to commit to 1-year contract with The Family Foundations Agency
Be a trustworthy, reliable, dependable, punctual provider with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing support
