Your Questions, Answered.

Take a few minutes to learn more about The Family Foundations Agency, the positions we offer, and how we support our team members.

  • Welcome to a space intentionally built for providers who want their work to matter.

At The Family Foundations Agency, our care model is designed with purpose—shaping every interaction, environment, and session to create meaningful, lasting impact for families. We believe the strongest care begins with supported providers, clear systems, and thoughtful collaboration.

This application is the first step toward joining a team that values professionalism, connection, and evidence-informed care.

  • This opportunity is best suited for providers who:

    • Value structure, communication, and professional standards

    • Thrive in collaborative environments while maintaining autonomy in their work

    • Care deeply about delivering consistent, high-quality, family-centered care

    • Are open to feedback, growth, and ongoing learning

    • Want administrative support so they can focus on client care

This may not be the right fit if you prefer to work without shared standards, systems, or administrative involvement—and that’s okay. We believe the best care happens when values and expectations are aligned.

  • We welcome applications from experienced and trained providers in the following roles:

    • Birth Doulas

    • Postpartum Doulas (Daytime and Overnight)

    • Newborn Care Specialists

    • Sibling Doulas (On-Call)

    • PRN / On-Call Support Providers

Availability and need may vary by location and season. Submitting an application does not guarantee placement but allows us to assess fit and future opportunities.

  • Providers with The Family Foundations Agency operate as independent contractors. Client assignments are offered based on experience, availability, credentials, and overall fit with the family’s needs.

    Assignments may include:

    • In-person care

    • Virtual support (role-dependent)

    • Short-term, long-term, or on-call placements

Hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate based on client demand. Many providers build consistent schedules over time, while others prefer flexible or supplemental work.

  • Compensation is competitive and determined by:

    • Role and scope of care

    • Experience and years in practice

    • Credentials, certifications, and advanced training

    • Tenure and demonstrated excellence within the agency

    • Location in which services are being provided

    • Number of infants requiring care

Opportunities for increased rates may be available with advanced training, expanded availability, and ongoing professional development.

  • To ensure high-quality care and strong client relationships, providers are expected to:

    • Maintain updated availability with the admin team

    • Respond to agency communications in a timely and professional manner

    • Uphold clear boundaries and reliability during active assignments

    • Communicate concerns, changes, or issues promptly

Specific availability requirements may vary by role and assignment.

  • Providers with The Family Foundations Agency are expected to uphold our shared standards of care, including:

    • Professionalism in communication and conduct

    • Emotional intelligence and cultural humility

    • Evidence-informed, client-centered care

    • Respect for boundaries, confidentiality, and agency policies

    • Collaboration with families, peers, and leadership

These standards protect both families and providers and help maintain the integrity of our care model.

  • When you join our team, you are supported by:

    • Client inquiries, consultations, and matching handled by our admin team

    • Billing, invoicing, and contracts managed for you

    • Ongoing administrative support throughout assignments

    • Peer connection through our private provider community

    • Access to agency resources, tools, and care materials

    • Occasional paid training opportunities and team meetings

We believe you do your best work when you’re not doing everything alone.

  • After submitting your application:

    • Our team will review your information carefully

    • Selected applicants will be contacted for an interview

    • References and credentials will be verified prior to onboarding

Due to the volume of applications, not all applicants will be contacted. We appreciate your understanding and the care you bring to this work.

  • We recognize the skill, emotional labor, and heart required in this field. If you’re seeking meaningful work, thoughtful systems, and a team that genuinely values providers as much as families—we’re grateful you’re here and honored you’re considering The Family Foundations Agency.
